Gemal Mekki Consultant
Gemal joined Regeneris as a Research Consultant having completed his MSc in Financial Economics with distinction at the University of Manchester. He previously graduated with a first class honours BSc in Economics at Manchester Metropolitan University.
Since joining Regeneris, Gemal has applied his experience in economic research to projects in both the public and private sector. He has contributed to a number of housing impact studies and is currently involved with the assessment of the economic impact of Lancashire’s Further Education colleges. Gemal is also skilled in economic modelling. Prior to joining Regeneris, he completed a placement at the Department for Work and Pensions where he used econometric forecasting techniques to analyse JSA claimant survival rates. He also has experience with financial equilibrium models and modelling ethical investment.
Outside the office, Gemal enjoys social games of badminton and football on weekends and enjoys surfing whenever he can escape Manchester.
