Darren joined Regeneris Consulting in 2001. He is an experienced economic development and regeneration consultant with a long track record in economic impact, policy research and Green Book appraisal.
One of Darren’s main interests is in assisting projects through the planning system, on the basis of economic need and impact. His experience in this field includes large scale residential developments, energy and infrastructure projects and strategic employment sites. Major projects he has recently completed include a review of the economic benefits of shale gas exploration in Lancashire, the economic case for a new M1 strategic employment site in Leicester and the preparation of a new regeneration framework for Ellesmere Port.
He is an avid Derby County fan, runs fast and likes obscure Belgian beer.
