Catherine has worked in economic development for over 3 years, providing research and analysis across all of Regeneris’ business areas. She has particular interest in the economics of low carbon and initiatives to stimulate business growth, innovation and enterprise.
Catherine has experience of evaluating the impact of large investments. She has worked on several of the company’s ERDF reviews, along with appraisals of private sector energy and developer investments and assessments of impact generated via publicly funded schemes such as knowledge transfer programmes. In addition, Catherine has a keen understanding of the environmental and low carbon technologies agenda, with recent work including an assessment of sub-regional economies to understand the costs and benefits that climate legislation is likely to pose to particular sectors.
Outside of work, Catherine might be spotted travelling backwards down Manchester’s waterways in a rowing boat.
