Tendring District Council required an economic evidence base to inform their emerging local plan. As well as preparing an Economic Development Strategy for the area, Regeneris carried out an Employment Land Review to inform the council’s future policies in relation to employment land.
Our work included a demand side assessment, which examined past employment trends and future scenarios for employment growth in the district to inform recommendations on future requirements. We also worked closely with Montagu Evans who assessed the supply of land in Tendring, and provided conclusions on the likely future demand-supply balance.
The study made a series of recommendations relating to land supply, key sites and job targets up to 2029. Our work is being used to shape future policies within the Tendring District Council Local Plan.
